Yearly Events
Candelario's calendar shapes our programme. These are the moments we build around each year.
Bodega & Charcuterie Evening
The village marks the end of the chacinera season with a communal tasting of freshly made charcuterie. We celebrate with local embutido paired with wine from our own bodega, and a folk music set on the Theatre stage.
Heritage Spring Evening
Holy Week closes and the village's spring procession marks a new season. Casino Mayor reopens its full programme with acoustic music on the Theatre stage and a curated bodega menu.
(4 days)
Gala Stage Dinner & Peak Programme
The patron saint festivities draw the largest crowd of the year. Four days of music and culture in the streets; inside Casino Mayor all rooms are in full operation, the stage hosts headline concerts, and the evening of 26 July closes with a Gala Stage Dinner. Reservations essential.
(2nd Sunday)
Heritage Gala Evening
A theatrical recreation of a 19th-century Candelario wedding — declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest. The village fills with visitors in traditional dress. We host a complementary evening: live music, a traditional dance exhibition on stage, and a themed bodega menu.
Easter Cultural Programme
Holy Week brings cultural visitors to Candelario. Casino Mayor runs cinema screenings, acoustic sets, and a curated bodega wine tasting across the Easter break. Lighter format, earlier opening hours.
